This luminous custom mobile was created as a heartfelt commission to celebrate a new baby with a sculpture of their beloved family dog named “Puppy.” From our studio in Folsom, Louisiana, the piece features a hand-sculpted polymer clay likeness of Puppy seated atop a painted building block bearing the family name. Surrounding elements include charms of a miniature teddy bear, rattle, and customized milk bottle, evoking the tender memories of childhood and family life.
The mobile is composed in soft, neutral tones of yellow, lime, seafoam, sunset, teal, gold, and silver. Six specially selected charms, designed or chosen in our studio, hang alongside three of our hand-painted wooden glazed bunnies suspended from hand-strung multicolored glass beads and crystals. A beautiful 58mm round faceted crystal hangs centered below, casting abundant light prisms throughout the piece. Seventeen Austrian Aurora Borealis rhinestones were added for subtle, light-reflective accents.
Measuring approximately 6.5” wide by 18” long, this mobile turns gently with the breeze, bringing movement, color, and cherished memories into any nursery, playroom, or family space. While created as a one-of-a-kind commission, we welcome similar custom orders that honor beloved pets or special family moments.
