This luminous handcrafted hummingbird feeder transforms a deep green olive oil bottle into an elegant garden sculpture adorned with delicate white daffodils and a tiny ladybug. From our studio in Folsom, Louisiana, each feeder begins with a carefully selected bottle which is then hand-wrapped in graceful heavy gauge copper wire and shaped into flowing, organic tendrils and supports. Hand-sculpted polymer clay flowers, leaves, and accents are individually formed and embellished with soft, lifelike detail, bringing a touch of springtime beauty to the piece.
The design balances beauty and functionality: a drilled silicone stopper with a custom bent copper tube ensures proper nectar flow, while the decorative copper cage provides both structure and visual charm. A rich burgundy flower port at the base completes the artistic touch. Suspended from a sturdy hanging loop with bead and wire accents, this feeder turns an everyday necessity into a sculptural accent that enhances any garden, porch, or outdoor space.
Each hummingbird feeder is one-of-a-kind, born from our desire to create beautiful alternatives to ordinary plastic feeders. Though all feeders may drip slightly in high heat, our designs prioritize both artistic elegance and practical performance.
