Past Works / Archive – A Journey Through Sold & Donated Pieces

Welcome to the Past Works / Archive section of Art Illusions by Young. This page brings together a selection of sold and donated works from across all collections since the studio began in 2016. Many of these pieces have found permanent homes with private collectors who continue to enjoy them, while others have been honored through placement in public or institutional settings — including donations to the Sandhill Crane Museum and the Nebraska airport.

These archived works represent important milestones in the evolution of the studio: from early explorations in woodburning and pigments, through the development of layered epoxy techniques, to the collaborative refinement that Sandra and I have pursued together under Art Illusions by Young, LLC. Each piece — whether a pure pyrography study on exposed wood grain, a luminous epoxy river table, a shadowbox-style diorama, or an Illusion Glass composition — carries the same handcrafted care and personal inspiration that still drives every new work today.
