Cherry Jubilee Illusion Glass – Cherries in Eternal Spring
This luminous Illusion Glass work celebrates the exuberant beauty of cherry blossoms and ripe fruit in full spring glory. Hand-painted with specialized European enamel glass paints that fuse permanently to the surface upon firing, the blossoms, leaves, cherries, and delicate branches glow with rich depth and lifelike vibrancy, creating an illusion of a living orchard captured in translucent color.
The vertical rectangular composition is framed in traditional lead came construction, accented by hand-twisted copper wirework that forms elegant tendrils and organic supports. The piece is suspended from a custom copper hanging element and rests above a flared, customized blown glass bowl base — evoking a sense of abundance and gentle downward flow. The overall effect is one of quiet celebration: petals and fruit suspended in light, as if the orchard’s peak moment has been preserved forever.
