This luminous Illusion Glass work gathers a vibrant medley of fresh citrus—tangerines, lemons, limes, and kumquats—bursting with the bright anticipation of warm summer days just ahead. Hand-painted with specialized European enamel glass paints that fuse permanently to the surface upon firing, the fruits and their glossy peels glow with rich depth and juicy realism—lemon yellows, lime greens, mandarin oranges, and subtle aqua undertones creating an illusion of sun-ripened freshness suspended in glass.
The circular composition is framed in traditional lead came construction, accented by hand-twisted copper wirework that forms graceful, organic tendrils and supports. A golden pineapple hanger crowns the piece, paired with celadon green crystal beads for a touch of tropical elegance. A colorful dangling embellishment of crystal and glass beads, finished with an adorable sliced fruit charm, completes the joyful composition. The work is suspended from a custom copper hanging element and rests above a flared, hand-formed bowl base, making it a perfect, cheerful accent for a kitchen window where sunlight can bring the colors to life.
Designed with a deliberate dual nature, it reveals its full magic in two lights: radiant and translucent when natural daylight shines through from behind, unveiling vibrant depth and illusion; painterly and richly atmospheric when viewed in ambient indoor light or shade, appearing as a glowing, hand-painted composition suspended in time.
Materials : Hand-cut art glass, lead came and solder, European enamel glass paints, hand-twisted copper wire, golden pineapple hanger, emerald crystal beads, crystal and glass beads, sliced fruit charm, customized base.

Display Options: A handcrafted display stand created by Mark and Sandra is Included (artists discretion). Additionally, all pieces can also be hung using a simple pressure rod and hook.

Lead Note: This Illusion Glass piece uses traditional leaded solder sealed with a protective polymer coating. It is safe for normal decorative use.
