From our studio in Folsom, Louisiana, the Dual Crown Royalty Ornament stands as a breathtaking tribute to the pageantry, symbolism, and enduring spirit of Mardi Gras. This oversized, handcrafted acrylic globe captures the essence of Carnival royalty through its dual-crown design — a radiant king’s crown in gleaming gold leaf graces the front recessed dome, adorned with 57 dazzling faceted Austrian crystals and encircled by a rich crimson clay bead border that adds luxurious texture and depth. On the reverse, a majestic queen’s crown rises in equal splendor, set against a shimmering field of multicolored encased foils that create an ever-changing, jewel-box iridescence when light passes through.
Lavish clay fleur-de-lis motifs in gold, silver, purple, and green frame both sides with intricate elegance, while hand-sculpted golden borders and ornate scrollwork lend timeless grandeur. A lush emerald-green custom ribbon bow crowns the top, accented on both sides by exquisite lavender-colored crystal enhanced brooches that sparkle like precious gems. Meticulously sculpted and assembled by hand using clays and molds, vibrant acrylic and enamel paints, gold and silver leaf, abundant glitter, and 67 faceted crystals in total, this approximately 10” × 8” ornament is designed for lasting beauty.
