From our studio in Folsom, Louisiana, the piece features a hand painted and embellished sea urchin bell in soft coral, orange, and purple tones, from which long, flowing ribbons in vibrant shades of orange, red, yellow, and coral cascade downward like translucent tentacles caught in a gentle current. As sunlight passes through, the colors come alive with a rich, fiery glow, creating shifting patterns of light and movement that evoke the serene drama of dusk at sea.
