From our studio in Folsom, Louisiana, this luminous Forget-Me-Nots Illusion Glass captures the gentle, enduring beauty of forget-me-nots in full bloom. Their delicate blue petals and golden centers are arranged in a tender cluster against a soft, ethereal backdrop. Hand-painted with specialized European enamel glass paints that fuse permanently to the surface upon firing, the flowers glow with rich depth and lifelike subtlety. True forget-me-not blues, gentle greens, and warm golden hearts create an illusion of living memory suspended in textured glass.
The diagonal composition is framed in traditional lead came construction and accented by hand-twisted copper wirework that forms elegant, organic tendrils and supports. Faceted orange Austrian crystals, along with a pear-shaped crystal drop, add subtle sparkle and symbolic resonance. The piece is suspended from a custom copper hanging element and rests above a custom-designed bowl base, evoking a quiet sense of remembrance and grace.
