From our studio in Folsom, Louisiana, a clear recycled wine bottle is transformed into a graceful garden sculpture through intricate spiral copper wire wrapping. The heavy gauge copper wire is carefully shaped into flowing, organic spirals and tendrils that create both structural support and visual elegance, allowing the clarity of the glass to shine while adding artistic movement.
The design balances beauty and functionality: a drilled cork with a custom bent copper tube ensures proper nectar flow, while the decorative copper cage provides both strength and sculptural presence. A hand-sculpted rich variegated burgundy flower port at the base adds a final artistic touch.
