At Art Illusions by Young, every Illusion Glass piece and ornament deserves to be presented with the same care and artistry with which it was created. Our handcrafted display stands are thoughtfully designed and built by Mark and Sandra to perfectly complement each artwork’s proportions, colors, and personality.
Each stand begins with a carefully selected antique or vintage base—ranging from elegant pewter, leaded glass, and blown glass to unique found objects. A solid copper rod is precisely inserted to provide stable, graceful support. The bases are then transformed using epoxy resin and layered with a rich variety of materials including crushed glass, precious stones, multi-colored gravel, glass marbles, and even coffee beans. These elements create miniature landscapes that echo the luminous, organic beauty of the Illusion Glass pieces they hold.
No two stands are alike. Some feature delicate star shapes, heart forms, scalloped bowls, or free-form organic designs. Others incorporate antique silver, iridescent glass, or richly colored resin pools that catch and reflect light alongside the artwork above.

Display Options: Our custom stands are designed to display the Illusion Glasses and Ornaments perfectly. Nevertheless, all our pieces display beautifully with a simple pressure rod and hook for window hanging.
