From our studio in Folsom, Louisiana, these luminous Illusion Glass pieces transform light into living art. Each work is hand-painted with specialized European enamel glass paints that permanently fuse to the surface, framed in traditional lead came, and accented with hand-twisted copper wirework and crystal beads. Designed to reveal two distinct personalities — radiant and translucent when backlit by natural daylight, or painterly and atmospheric in ambient indoor light — these pieces capture moments of Louisiana life, nature, and quiet wonder. Hand-burned with precision on sustainably sourced woods — including sinker cypress, oak, basswood, and maple — many pieces are enriched with layered pigments and paints, while others feature flowing epoxy rivers that capture tide pools, marine life, or abstract landscapes.
